Sa'art Mural Festival - November 2025

I was honoured to participate in the Sa’art International Mural Festival as an emerging muralist representing Timor-Leste. Engaging with fellow artists from around the world was both inspiring and enriching, fostering meaningful exchanges of ideas, techniques, and perspectives. This opportunity not only strengthened my practice as an artist but also deepened my commitment to using mural art as a medium for storytelling, cultural preservation, and community connection.

I painted a mural in the central walkway of Battambang, Cambodia. The mural was entitled "The Spirit of Weavings", and represented all of the different motifs and patters and traditional woven practices seen throughout Asia.
